How to make Rose Popcorn
Step – 1 Pop the corn
Heat butter in a pot and add corn kernels to it. Saute for just a few seconds and then place a lid on the pot. Let the corn pop for 2-3 minutes. Once all the corn kernels have transformed into popcorn, turn off the heat and take them out in a bowl.
Step – 2 Prepare the rose syrup
Now add milk to a pan along with corn syrup and a pinch of salt. Let them heat for two minutes. Add the sugar and mix until dissolved. Once it comes to a boil, add food colour along with rose essence. Mix well and cook for just 1 minute more.
Step – 3 Coat the popcorns
Turn off the flame of the syrup and add the popcorn to the pan. Mix well to coat the popcorns properly. They will stick together initially so don’t worry. Once coated properly, spread out the popcorn on a tray lined with parchment paper and let them dry off completely.
Step – 4 Ready to be served
Once the popcorns are dry, they won’t stick to each other anymore. Your Rose Popcorns are now ready to be served.

- 1/3 cup milk
- 1/2 tablespoon corn syrup
- 1 teaspoon rose essence
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 3/4 cup powdered sugar
- 4 drops pink food color
- 1 Pinch salt
