How to make Chocolate Cereal Gujiya
Step 1 – Make a dough
Sieve the flour and add some ghee to the flour. Mix using your hand. Add some more moisture and knead to make a tight dough, cover with a damp cloth and keep aside.
Step 2 – Make choco cereal mixture
Melt chocolate in the microwave or by using the double-boiler method. Now and add choco cereal to it. Mix well and then let it cool down a bit.
Step 3 – Make gujiyas
Divide the dough into small balls and roll each ball into 4 inches diameter pancakes. Fill the pancakes with the chocolate cereal mixture and seal the pastry in a half-moon shape and then twist the edges inwards.
Step 4 – Fry the gujiyas
Make gujiyas with the rest of the dough. Heat ghee in a kadhai and fry gujiyas till golden brown in colour.
Step 5 – Ready to be served
Garnish the gujiyas with melted dark chocolate and serve. Enjoy!
