The milk that is used to make this ice tea is either whole milk or coconut milk. This iced tea recipe is a bit different from the regular ones. How to make Thai Iced Tea
Step 1 – Boil the tea
In a pot, add water, tea bags, cardamom, vanilla essence, star anise, cinnamon stick and turmeric. Boil the ingredients together on low heat for 5 minutes.
Step 2 – Pour into glasses
In tall glasses, add some crushed ice and pour the tea over the ice through a strainer.
Step 3 – Add milk mixture on top
In a bowl, whisk sugar, sweetened condensed milk and whole milk until smooth. Pour this milk mixture in glasses over the tea and give a gentle stir.
Step 4 – Ready to be served
Your Thai Iced Tea is ready to be served.

- 2 star anise
- 1 stick cinnamon
- 2 tablespoon sugar
- 4 tablespoon milk
- 1 green cardamom
- 4 cup water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
- 1/4 cup condensed milk
- ice cubes as required
