How to make Besan Laddoo

Step 1 Roast gram flour or besan in ghee

To prepare this easy besan ladoo recipe, heat ghee in a pan over low flame. Once the ghee has melted, add gram flour in it and roast it for 10 to 20 minutes. Keep stirring as the gram flour might stick to the bottom of the pan. Once the gram flour turns light brown in colour, add in the cardamom powder, cashew nuts and almonds. Mix all the ingredients well and remove from the flame.

Step 2 Let the mixture cool down and prepare the laddoos

Once done, allow the gram flour mixture to cool. Once it is cool enough, add sugar in it and mix well. Now take portions of the gram flour mixture and make medium sized ladoos. Place the laddoos on a greased flat plate. Serve your homemade besan ladoos to your guests after they have set. You can also store these ladoos in an airtight container.
