Ingredients:
- Radish (mooli): 250g (with leaves, if possible)
- Potato (optional): 1 medium-sized, diced
- Onion: 1 small, finely chopped
- Tomato: 1 medium, finely chopped
- Green chili: 1-2, chopped (optional)
- Ginger: 1 tsp, grated
- Turmeric powder: 1/2 tsp
- Red chili powder: 1/2 tsp
- Cumin seeds: 1/2 tsp
- Asafoetida (hing): A pinch
- Coriander powder: 1 tsp
- Garam masala: 1/2 tsp
- Salt: To taste
- Oil: 2 tbsp
- Fresh coriander leaves: For garnish
Instructions:
- Prepare the Ingredients:
- Wash and peel the radishes. Dice them into small pieces.
- If the radish leaves are fresh and tender, chop them finely.
- Dice the potato if using.
- Heat Oil:
- Heat oil in a pan or kadhai.
- Add cumin seeds and let them crackle.
- Add a pinch of asafoetida (hing) for flavor.
