How to make Onion Pakoda
Step 1 – Prepare the batter
Take a big bowl, add besan, flour, salt and carrom seeds in it. Add water in batches and mix well to form a thick batter.
Step 2 – Add onions
Now add chopped green chillies, grated ginger, garlic paste, dry mango powder and mix well. Add thinly sliced onions in the batter, add more water and mix. Your batter should be neither too thick nor too thin.
Step 3 – Heat the oil and deep fry
Put the kadhai on medium heat and let it heat properly. Now drop in the pakodas one by one in the hot oil.
Step 4 – Fry and serve

- 1 teaspoon garlic paste
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mango powder

- 1 teaspoon chopped green chilli
