Navratri fast is usually observed for 9 days and ends with ashtami/navami. While fasting, people usually resort to fried and sugary foods, which makes the fast unhealthy instead. Avoid consuming such items and instead have fruits, veggies and some healthy foods like this Sabudana Dosa. You just need four ingredients- sabudana, samak rice, curd and salt to make a dosa batter which can be used to make some super delicious dosas.
Sabudana Dosa is a filling food, rich in carbs and will give you enough energy to sustain during fasting. You can pair up the dosas with coconut chutney for a wholesome combo. Not just Navratri, you can try this tasty Sabudana Dosa on any other usual day as well.

How to make Sabudana Dosa
Step 1 – Soak sabudana and rice
Soak sabudana for 4 hours and samak rice for about 30 minutes.
Step 2 – Make a batter
In a blender, add soaked sabudana/sago, samark rice, curd and some water. Blend to form a thick paste. Add some water and blend again to adjust the consistency.
Step 3 – Season with salt
Take out the batter in a bowl. The batter should be on the thinner side. Add salt as per taste and whisk well.
Step 4 – Make dosas
Heat a tawa on medium heat. Now smear a non-stick tawa with a few drops of oil and add 2 tbsp of water. With a muslin cloth, wipe it gently. Pour 2 ladlefuls of batter on the tawa and spread in circular motions to form a thin layer.
Step 5 – Ready to be served
Once golden and crispy from both sides, Sabudana Dosa is ready to be served.
