Step 1 Dry roast sesame seeds
Dry roast the sesame seeds in a flat pan on medium heat. Do this till they are pale golden in colour and turn bit aromatic.
Step 2 Make jaggery syrup
Put the jaggery and water in a pan and melt to form a thick syrup.
Step 3 Mix sesame seeds with jaggery syrup
Add the toasted sesame seeds to the syrup and mix well, add ghee. Add cardamom powder and mix well. Take off from the stove. Make balls and serve.

- 1 cup powdered jaggery
- 5 powdered green cardamom
